Its greater advantage is that the formed cement stone has excellent frost resistance and can endure 15 cycles of freeze-thaw test.

This kind of cement slurry has the following advantages for cementing in permafrost well sections:

1 Obtain a low density cement slurry.

2. No ice melting occurs in the process of grouting in the casing annulus.

3 The grey-water separation rate of cement slurry is low.

4 Cement slurry has good hardening ability under low temperature conditions, and cement stone has good compressive strength.

5 Cement stone can form adsorption cementation with ice. Therefore, magnesia cement material can be selected for casing cementing through permafrost, and experimental evaluation and industrial testing are carried out according to the conditions of use.
